Taking the rifle apart is very easy. Most who own a Mosin or who have ever owned one are very familiar, because they usually come with a nice thick coating of packing grease.
The new stock slid on very easily, I was quite surprised after reading many reviews online about extra fitting work needed. Not the case here, the whole process took under 20 minutes.
